These lights are not as bright as I had hoped. They are very well made, and I think will last for years.

Lights are good quality but the LED only puts out about 1/2 the amount of light a standard incandescent C-9 does. I'm sure I'll enjoy the energy savings of the LED but they just dont have the glow.
Plastics clips are worthless

If you are planning to use the plastic clips on the bulb base, don't bother. At least 50% of the clips snapped off when I tried to clip them to our house gutters (and I was being very careful). The lights themselves are very pretty, but be prepared to use some other clips to hang them with.

I bought the GE LED c-9 colored lights.I like every thing about them except when I go outside every morning after it freeze's I have to pick up the lenses. They seem to get water in them and when they freeze the lenses pop off. Very frustrating to put lenses on every day.You would think Outdoor lights would not do this.
What's with the colors?

Notice the black & white promo picture? Obviously the sellers realizes there is a problem. There are just two Christmas colors in these lights (red & green.) The rest (blue, yellow, pink) are NOT Christmas lights. They are lights aimed at the KTV market of Asia repackaged for Christmas. But adding pink, yellow, and blue does not emote the Christmas feeling. It's more a combination of Easter and Carnival. They should have included enough spare bulbs in Christmas colors to choose one's preferred holiday. (Or at least offer a way to buy the bulbs!) When I first plugged them in, everyone went "Huh? What were they thinking?" It's too bad because otherwise they look great.
